Bullpen Help Arrives; Wolf, Castillo Up From Frisco

Round Rock, Texas - Even with LHP Derek Holland scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with the Express tonight, Round Rock’s starting rotation and bullpen has been ravaged over the last week. Today the Express announced two additions are coming up from Double-A Frisco as right-handers Ross Wolf (#18) and Fabio Castillo (#49) were transferred to the Express this afternoon. Both will be active for tonight’s game.

This is Wolf’s second stint with the Express this season. He appeared in two games this month with a 4.50 ERA. Castillo will make his Triple-A debut after parts of three seasons in the Texas League. He had a 2.89 ERA and 28 strikeouts in 37.1 innings for the RoughRiders.

With the addition of these three pitchers Wednesday, the Express roster is at 24 players + 1 MLB Rehab (doesn’t count against the 25 active roster spots).
