Express Bats Deafened by Sounds, 4-0
Records: Express (36-44), Sounds (32-48)
- Nashville leads series 1-0 … Nashville leads season series 3-2
- Game 2 of series Thursday at 7:05 p.m. CDT
Express Player-to-Watch: The winner tonight is OF Ryan Spilborghs, who drew two walks. In my opinion, there is no winner tonight, as the team as a whole had a tough night. But the official scoring has Spilborghs taking home the W, bringing the overall records to Andrew (1-2), Will (2-1), and Wade (0-3). Look for the whole Express team to bounce back tomorrow.
- Julio Borbon snapped his hitless streak, which is one positive from the game, and with the exception of one pitch, Derek Holland looked solid in the first of his three or four rehab starts.
- Tonight’s win snaps an 11-game losing streak for the Sounds at the Dell Diamond.

I was going to point to guys like Wilson and Wainwright, but you make a good point about how Feliz relies on the heat. They’ll have to maagne his workload, but even if he’s around 94-95 and uses his slider, he should do well. If he starts working on a third pitch that will help. I think he should do as well as the other guys in their rotation.Good analysis.
