Blastin’ Bianucci: With runners on second and third and one out, 1B Mike Bianucci hit a sacrifice fly to center to score OF Julio Borbon from third. Express trail 8-2.

Greggles: RHP Greg Reynolds gets out of a bases loaded jam with no outs by getting RF Bryan Peterson to get ground into a double play and 2B Donnie Murphy to ground out to third. Express trail 7-1.

Few And Far Between: The Express have failed to get a base hit or score in the first two innings this evening, and are now scoreless in their last 14 innings.
Three Up, Three Down: After giving up five runs on four hits in the first. RHP Greg Reynolds settled down in the second by retiring C Clint Sammons, CF Kevin Mattison, and SS Gil Velazquez in order on twelve pitches. Express trail 5-0.
Greggles: RHP Greg Reynolds had a tough go of it in the first inning. He gave up five runs on four hits including a two run home run by 2B Donnie Murphy. Coming into tonight, Reynolds was the team’s hottest starter in the last three weeks (3-0, 3.29 ERA).
Red, White, and Blue: Tonight the Express are sporting their red uniforms for only the second time all season. The other time was the home opener when RHP Greg Reynolds was on the mound.
