Final: The Express drop the series finale 9-4.

The Wave: officially just broke out at the Dell Diamond.

EPW Update: Fourth time through for each-

Borbon: Julio grounded out to end the seventh inning

Hernandez: Grounds out to 3B.

Solarte: Strikes out.

Tonight’s Attendance: 12,138 – This is the largest crowd of the season. Also it is the fourth largest Independence day crowd and 17th largest crowd EVER in the history of the Dell Diamond.

The Legend of Guilder: It sounds like a fairy tale, but the legend of Guilder continues as he enjoys a 3 for 3 night at the plate.

Butler: Joey Butler will be bringing his big boy bat to Buffalo, as he is competing in the AAA home run derby as part of All-Star weekend.

Defensive Change: Greg Miclat comes in for Bianucci. Miclat is at 2B, Kata moves to 1B, and Guilder slides to right field

Seeing Double: Mike Bianucci hits the third straight double of the inning for the Express, scoring Solarte.

EPW Update: Bottom 6th

Borbon: With two men on, Borbon singles for his second hit of the game to load the bases for Hernandez.

Hernandez: Luis hits a bases clearing double down the first base line on an 0-2 count, then gets thrown out trying to stretch it to a triple. Hernandez is credited with a double and 3 RBIs

Solarte: Doubles for his second hit of the game.

Snyder: Ben Snyder is in to pitch for the Express.

-Final Line on Hankins: 5 IP, 7 H, 6 ER, 0 BB, 5 K, 22 Batters faced, 15 First Pitch Strikes, 94 pitches (65 strikes)

EPW Update: 2nd time through-

Borbon: Reaches on an infield single to lead off the inning.

Hernandez: Flies out to right field on a full count.

Solarte: On the defensive end, Solarte starts a 5-4-3 double play in the top of the fourth. At the plate Solarte singles through the 1B/2B hole.

The Great Chicken Race: White takes home the victory (1)

A Fresh Look: Guilder Rodriguez records his first hit at home this season (second of the year, he has not played in many games so far) with an infield single up the middle in his first AB.

Hankins: Express pitcher Derek Hankins bounces back from the grandslam surrendered in the second inning by striking out the side in the top of the third.

Express Player-to-Watch Update: EPW will be early and often tonight as we unintentionally took the 1-2-3 hitters in the lineup.

Borbon: Flies out to the warning track in the right/center gap on a full count.

Hernandez: Grounds out to the short stop for the second out on a full count.

Solarte: Grounds out to the short stop on a 1-1 count.
