ROUND ROCK, Texas – Round Rock Express Baseball announced its 2013 Pacific Coast League home-game schedule Friday. The 72-game slate kicks off with an eight-game home stand Thursday, April 4. The home schedule concludes Sunday, Aug. 25. The complete 2013 schedule and game times will be announced at a later date.

Round Rock’s opening home stand includes four-game series against American Conference rivals Omaha (Kansas City Royals Triple-A affiliate) and Iowa (Chicago Cubs). With the annual PCL home-away rotation of series against Pacific Conference members, Colorado Springs, Reno, Salt Lake and Tacoma visit The Dell Diamond for the first time since 2011.

The five-month home schedule features four eight-game, one seven-game, a five-game and seven single four-game-series home stands. The Express will play 11 Friday home games, each featuring the popular postgame fireworks display, and host Omaha on July 4 with a larger Independence Day celebration at The Dell Diamond. Round Rock’s home schedule concludes Aug. 21-25 with a five-game series against American Southern Division rival Oklahoma City (Houston Astros).
